Remelluri Reserva 2016

Remelluri is a family winery near Labastida in the Alavesa zone of Rioja. It is known in particular for its high quality red wines based on the Tempranillo grape variety.

"The Reserva is the estate's flagship red and is produced from a blend of Tempranillo with smaller proportions of Graciano, Garnacha, Viura and Malvasía. The wine is aged for around 18 months in barrel spends a minimum of three years in the cellar before release. The result is rich and savoury, with dense colour and an attractive density of earthy red fruit, along with fine-grained tannins and crisp acidity."
