Pingus 2023

Dominio de Pingus is an iconic small producer from the Ribera del Duero region in Spain.  It has developed a cult status for its top wines and their Tempranillo based wines at all levels command worldwide attention.

Review

The 2023 vintage of Pingus is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, grown on old vines in selected plots. These vines are grown according to biodynamic principles, which means that no synthetic chemicals are used and that great emphasis is placed on sustainability and respect for nature. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a careful selection to ensure that only the best are used in the production.

"The wine has great depth, complexity and ability to age beautifully. The result is a wine with silky tannins and a complex bouquet of dark berries, herbs and mineral notes."
