Jean Grivot Vosne-Romanee 2023

Domaine Jean Grivot is an estate in the Côte d'Or of Burgundy known for its deep, aromatic Pinot Noir wines with bright red fruit characteristics.  The domaine only makes wines from its own vineyards.

Review

"The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Village is quite understated on the nose. Forest floor scents mix with incense as red berry fruit tones gently unfurl in the glass, though it doesn't make too much of a fuss. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, pretty red fruit mixed with blood orange on the entry and moderate weight. It is finely balanced with a dash of white pepper on the finish. Give this a couple of years in bottle and you'll have a lovely Vosne Village on your hands."
