Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Romanee-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru 2020

Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, or DRC is easily Burgundy's best known and most collectible wine producer.  Based in the village of Vosne-Romanee, the domaine produces wines from eight different Grand Cru vineyards.

"A very intense purple. The bouquet seems fresher than the Grands Echezeaux. Raspberry and blueberry, a stunning concentration of vigorous fresh fruit, a little vanilla from the barrel, but entirely harmonious. The finish too is fresher. Very persistent, a gorgeous Romanée St-Vivant in the making. Shows the oak more at the moment than the two Echezeaux wines, though this will unquestionably integrate." - 100pts, Vinous
