" A very intense purple. The bouquet seems fresher than the Grands Echezeaux. Raspberry and blueberry, a stunning concentration of vigorous fresh fruit, a little vanilla from the barrel, but entirely harmonious. The finish too is fresher. Very persistent, a gorgeous Romanée St-Vivant in the making. Shows the oak more at the moment than the two Echezeaux wines, though this will unquestionably integrate." - 97pts, Jasper Morris
