Benoit Ente is a Burgundy winemaker based in Puligny-Montrachet. He is best known for white wines from that appellation, made from the Chardonnay grape variety.

"There is a top section of the Truffière vineyard, separate from the rest, which is the Clos and a monopole of Benoît Ente’s. The rows are planted north-south, which is a bonus these days as the grapes are less likely to get grilled. Just a faint touch of colour, and an agreeable lime laden nose, almost a touch of sweet and sour, medium bodied. Really quite elegant, an uphill Puligny but a fine one. Very good persistence and coats the teeth." - 93pts, Jasper Morris
