"Rousseau's 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is a rich, demonstrative wine, bursting from the glass with aromas of raspberries and cherries mingled with raw cocoa, orange rind, peonies and hints of cedary oak. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and textural, with uncommon mid-palate weight and imposing reserves of ripe fruit, it's structured around powdery tannins and succulent acids. This is carrying unusual puppy fat, yet it retains the domaine's stylistic signatures and promises to age with grace." - 91pts, Wine Advocate
