Italy's finest wine regions are undoubtedly Piedmont and Tuscany. Piedmonts most famous appellations of Barolo and Barbaresco are home to Nebbiolo, whilst Tuscany is famed for its Sangiovese and more recently Bordeaux blends from Bolgheri.

There are numerous revered producers from Barolo including Giacomo Conterno, Gaja, Bartolo Mascarello and Bruno Giacosa, whilst Tuscany is best known for its famed Brunello producers such as Biondi Santi and Super Tuscans including Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Tignanello and Masseto to name a few.
