Mugneret-Gibourg is a highly regarded small producer based in the village of Vosne-Romanee whose wines are some of the most sought in Burgundy.

"Very intense purple black. The nose is only slightly heady but is very fine, perfumed dark raspberry, offering much more than the blend. Very old vines here (1930s) but there is not much degeneration. I keep coming back to the nose, its beautiful. Gorgeous weight on the palate, perfect balance even at 14%, with fine acidity as well as ripened tannins." - 92-94pts, Jasper Morris
