"Like the Montrachet, the nose is cool, elegant a pure with its blend of Granny Smith apple, mineral reduction and citrus confit. Somewhat surprisingly, there is a bit more volume to the impressively powerful big-bodied flavors that also display huge length on the almost painfully intense finale that is borderline tannic. This is superb but it's also a wine to buy and forget in the back of a cool cellar for a minimum of 7 to 8 years. A stunner." - 96pts, Burghound
