Collection: Cote de Nuits

The Feature Region of the Week will be updated each week and anyone subscribed to our mailing list will have access to a special code to receive 5% off any of that region's wines.

This week's featured region is the Côte de Nuits which is the northern half of the Cote d'Or wine region in Burgundy specialising in Pinot Noir.   Famous producers such as Armand Rousseau, Roumier, Mugnier, Dujac, Comte Georges de Vogue and Meo-Camuzet to name a few.

The most famous and expensive bottles come from the grand cru vineyards of Vosne-Romanee and Chambolle-Musigny. The former is known for rich, silky red wines, while the latter generally produces more elegant expressions of Pinot Noir.

To the north, Gevrey-Chambertin and Morey-Saint-Denis are noted for full-bodied red wines, and boasts 14 grand cru vineyards between them.  To the south, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vougeot and Echezeaux all produce excpetional wines.
